Antique Atelier - The Tri-Colour Russian Ring
This vintage 9k triple wedding band is an unusual ring. Made up three rings in yellow, white and rose gold, the bands are interlinked which bond beautifully as one on the finger.
The 'Russian Wedding Ring', or 'Rolling Ring' as it has come to be known has been popular in many formats since Medieval times, although the history of such wedding rings is shrouded in the mists of time, there is the religious Christian connotation of the three spirits in one. There is the Medieval English and European ritual of the two betrothed and the witness having a ring each which are joined at marriage never to be parted. The Russian orthodox Holy Trinity, and even Cartier the finest of jewellery makers claim to have been the inventor.
This ring is undoubtedly very special, and carries a deeper meaning than traditional wedding bands. The ring itself is crafted from three 1.3mm diameter D shaped bands, using 9ct White Gold, 9ct Rose Gold, and 9ct Yellow Gold.
Something really special, with a deeper meaning.
